Other Injectable Fillers
Cosmetic injectables are commonly used to restore a younger appearance for patients who suffer from the most visible signs of aging. These dermal fillers are effective options for individuals who wish to eliminate fine lines, deep folds, and other wrinkles present on the face. They are also effective at providing more definition and creating more appealing facial contours, and they make great alternative or complementary treatments to the other facial plastic surgery procedures offered at Pasadena Cosmetic Surgery.
We offer many of the most popular injectable fillers at Pasadena Cosmetic Surgery, including:
Facial Fat Transfer
For patients who wish to transform the their faces but are not ready for more invasive procedures such as a face lift, rhinoplasty, or brow lift surgery, Dr. O’Toole provides facial fat transfer to produce a younger looking and more defined appearance. Facial fat transfer involves using a patient’s own fat to fill in wrinkles and add more volume to various areas of the face such as the lips or the region under the eyes. It is also an effective and minimally invasive alternative to traditional chin augmentation and cheek augmentation surgery. In addition, facial fat transfer can be used to fill in facial scars and other depressions, providing you with a more even complexion.
During the facial fat transfer procedure, liposuction techniques are used to collect fat cells from other areas of the body, usually from the abdomen, hips, or thighs. The cells are then cleaned and injected into targeted areas of the face to produce more aesthetically pleasing contours. Results from facial fat transfer tend to last longer than those from Juvederm, Restylane®, and our other facial rejuvenation procedures because the treatment uses your own fat tissue. As a result, many patients choose to combine facial fat transfer with the other injectable treatments we offer, allowing them to enjoy enhanced results.
