There are a number of injectable fillers that can be used to restore a softer, more youthful appearance. How long your results last will depend on factors including the type of filler you choose, your genetic makeup, and your lifestyle choices. During your initial consultation, board-certified Pasadena plastic surgeon Dr. Martin O’Toole would be happy to discuss your options and help you better understand what you can realistically expect from your treatment.

Hyaluronic Acid Fillers

A new study has found that hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers such as JUVÉDERM® may be able to correct signs of aging in the mid-face for upwards of two years. Treatment from these fillers to other parts of the face may produce results for 12 to 18 months, though this varies from person to person.

HA fillers do tend to produce longer-lasting results than options such as BOTOX® Cosmetic, though they are not ideal for everyone. Dr. O’Toole will work with you individually to help you decide which type of filler will best meet your needs.
