The FDA has recently recommended that Black Box labeling on dermal fillers be updated to include risks associated with improper injection. Following complaints made by some patients who had experienced complications following accidental injection into blood vessels, the FDA told the makers of facial fillers that warnings need to be improved to ensure patients fully understand their risks.
