Group of womenAccording to channel 7 news for some, strapping on the iPod and heading down the trail solo gets lonely. The solution? Buddy up.

“Everybody has those days when they’d rather be laying on the couch. They don’t want to get out of bed. If you have a partner or a group of people, that accountability factor really helps you get there,” explained trainer Cory Brusseau.

Accountability is what Brusseau says you want and need when trying to stay fit.

“Working out with a buddy can actually enhance your results. It can increase your results and speed them up,” said Brusseau.

So make a date and put it in your book just like any appointment. You will find your team workout will produce great results.

“When you can use each other for balance, stability for assisted weight, it can enhance your results,” Brusseau said. “You do a whole lot more things that you can’t do solo, and it opens up a whole new world of exercises.”

Achieving goals with a friend can be very rewarding. When plastic surgery is considered it should be chosen on an individual basis. For some good friends, it  may seem like a good idea to have their plastic surgery together at the same time. Dr. O’Toole explains to patients that having surgery with a friend could have some drawbacks. Specifically, there could be a strong urge to compare results. This can be very trying especially when one friend is recovering more quickly than the other. Breast augmentation patients could be tempted to compare sizes and shapes of their friend’s breast augmentation result. This could lead to dissatisfaction even when patients have results that  most would consider desirable.  Dr. O’Toole  will usually not forbid friends from having surgery together. He makes sure patients weigh the benefits against the drawbacks.
