Spoon full of choclateWe have heard for years that chocolate is good for your heart. Now another study confirms it yet again. No one advises that people consume unlimited amounts. As a matter of fact this study states that there is no proven correct dosage so moderation is the recommendation. Dr. O’Toole  has some patients share in their consultation that their cravings for sweets like chocolate, are a big part of the reason they are considering body contouring procedures including abdominoplasty and liposuction. Dr. O’Toole explains that patients should be close to their ideal body weight to receive the maximum benefits from surgical body contouring procedures. Whether traditional liposuction or SmartLipo neither of these are weight loss procedures. After surgery it is critical that patients maintain a healthy and stable weight with good diet and exercise. This will ensure the best longest lasting results.Chocolate in moderation is good. According to The Los Angeles Times  eating chocolate could benefit the heart, a study finds, possibly lowering heart disease by 37%. The results come from a meta-analysis released online Monday in the British Medical Journal. Researchers from the United Kingdom and Colombia focused on seven studies looking at the link between eating chocolate and a reduction in heart disease that included 114,009 people.
