Generally, most women who get either breast implant type are able to breastfeed. You shouldn't get breast implants if you are currently breastfeeding or pregnant, but once you have healed completely from the procedure, breast implants rarely interfere with breastfeeding.
Because breast augmentation is a surgical procedure, there is a slight risk that a surgical incision could prevent you from breastfeeding, but this happens only rarely. Some women are unable to breastfeed anyway.
