The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) has recently released a report about the “worrying advertisements for cosmetic stem cell procedures.” Referring to exhaustive studies conducted by researchers at Stanford University Medical Center, the ASPS warns that claims regarding the efficacy of stem cell treatments for facial rejuvenation and other cosmetic procedures are unsubstantiated and potentially fraudulent.
